UPDATE: I have been really happy with the recent focus upon South Africa with the new sci-fi movie about there in Johannesburg, of an alien invasion of sorts in "District 9"

I just thought I would let you all know I had known about at least some of the charms of South Africa from before this year in discovering an excellent South African musician over 20 years ago, by the name of Blondie Chaplin. I would love for those newly interested in South Afrikaners, black and white, to go check him out. He is an excellent artist and singer too. Also South African-American Arnold Vosloo (Remember him especially as the Mummy from "The Mummy" movies with Brendon Frasier.) How could I forget, one of my favorite actresses, Alice Krige, who mesmerised me with her terrific performance in "Chariots Of Fire" and whom I've enjoyed since then. An amazing actress maybe most known as the seductive Borg Queen in Star Trek's First Contact, and to Dune fans as Lady Jessica Atriedes in the Dune miniseries...

In my perusal of South African treasures I have found their people to be some of the greatest they have. Multi-talented and sometimes overlooked, I do hope that others-from other countries such as my own, do check them out

As FALL has fallen here where I am at, there is just a bit of chill in the air. I thought I would post some of my favorite Fall artworks I have come across here on from the amazing artists who have created them: Thank you! Thank you for showing us the wonder of this season! Some are not specifically Fall themed artworks, yet they made me think of Fall somehow too...

I wanted to feature a beautiful artwork done by the very talented of my OCs in my new story (I am tentatively titling: "Seasonings") Simon and Jackie: Amazingly done so much better than I could do!



I have been a fan of style of drawing and coloring, and am delighted to have an artwork made for me
